HexFall.io — Privacy policy
Last updated: July 23, 2026
HexFall.io is a free browser game. We collect as little data as possible — this page explains exactly what is stored, where, and why.
Data stored on your device only
The game saves your preferences in your browser's local storage. This data never identifies you and stays on your device:
- your nickname (whatever you type — it can be anything),
- your cosmetic choices, owned items, coin balance and best score,
- a randomly generated anonymous identifier (see below).
You can erase all of it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
Data processed by the game server
While you play, your inputs (movement, jumps, item use), your nickname and your cosmetic selection are sent to the game server — that is what makes real-time multiplayer work. Other players only ever see your nickname and your character.
The server also keeps anonymous, aggregated statistics to improve the game: number of sessions, session length, scores, causes of elimination, coins earned in game, device type (mobile/desktop) and browser language. These are tied to a random anonymous identifier generated by your browser — never to your name, and we do not store your IP address with any of it.
What we do NOT do
- No account, no email, no password — you just play.
- No tracking cookies, no fingerprinting, no third-party analytics.
- No selling or sharing of any data with anyone.
Advertising
The game currently displays no advertising. If ads are introduced in the future, this policy will be updated beforehand, and players in the European Economic Area will be asked for their consent through a certified consent management platform, as required by EU law (GDPR).
